Project Scope
The project comprises piping engineering and robust civil & structural design to create a safe, efficient, and operationally reliable chemical processing facility.
Piping engineering forms one of the core components of the project and involves the detailed design and development of all process and utility piping systems within the facility. Key Engineering Activities Include: • Development of piping routing and layouts • Preparation of: o Piping General Arrangement (GA) Drawings o Isometric Drawings o Pipe Support Drawings o Material Take-Off (MTO) o Line Lists and Valve Schedules • Material specification and piping class development • Integration with equipment and structural systems • Support design and flexibility considerations • Intelligent 3D modelling and coordination Special emphasis is placed on layout discipline, routing optimization, and minimizing interface conflicts within the facility.
Key Highlights
Detail engineering for Piping and Civil & Structural works for chemical plant containing x no. of lines, y no. of equipment and plot area x m2for Refinery Hydrocarbon Flare System.
Developed intelligent 3D model ensuring: Accurate piping routing and equipment layout, Clash-free interdisciplinary coordination and Optimized constructability and space utilization.
Performed detailed piping engineering including Piping layouts and isometric drawings, Material specifications and Pipe support design and detailing.
Executed civil & structural engineering and delivered structural fabrication drawings.
Designed structural components including Equipment foundations, Pipe racks and trenches and Buildings and steel structures.
Ensured effective coordination with process, piping, Civil and structural, and E&I disciplines.
