Project Scope
The project comprises of engineering of Piping, Piping Stress analysis of mounded bullet storage systems, hydrocarbon transfer network, pumping systems, and critical piping infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable terminal operations.
The project scope includes detailed piping engineering and comprehensive 3D modelling for an LPG mounded bullet storage terminal developed for safe storage and efficient product transfer through rail, road, and pipeline systems. The engineering is focused on achieving a well-coordinated plant layout with safe operation, smooth product movement, and effective integration of all process and utility facilities.
The facility consists of two LPG mounded bullets, each having a diameter of 7 m and a length of 77 m with an approximate storage capacity of 1,342 MT per bullet. The terminal includes LPG transfer pumps, loading and unloading facilities, transfer headers, and interconnected piping systems designed for reliable and continuous product handling operations.
Engineering activities include 3D plant modelling, piping routing, piping layout preparation, equipment integration, support coordination, and development of construction-ready engineering deliverables. The layout is developed with attention to accessibility, operational clearance, maintenance requirements, and efficient utilization of available space within the terminal area.
The 3D model is used for interdisciplinary coordination, routing verification, clash detection, and constructability review to support smooth fabrication and site execution activities. All engineering deliverables are developed in accordance with applicable LPG storage standards, project specifications, and safety requirements to ensure reliable operation, construction efficiency, and long-term plant performance
